Photo Tours Offered Daily

Located and operated out of my hometown of Juneau, Alaska we offer photo tours and workshops in this unique Alaskan wilderness, Southeast Alaska, or as we refer to it, the Inside Passage.  Our destinations are suited for all levels of photographers and it is our hope to introduce you to our home while helping you to improve your camera skills, share tips on capturing the wildlife here in Southeast Alaska or the breathtaking landscapes that will surround you.  It is our goal to ensure your photography adventure captures amazing pictures that you can bring home to share with your family and friends.  So bring your camera gear and a friend and plan to enjoy the experiences of shooting anything from wildflowers to wildlife, glaciers to glacier-fed lakes, salmon running rivers, bald eagles, and more. Whatever the weather, the Tongass offers stunning glimpses of beauty, and never fails to inspire awe.

Benefit From Our Experience
We are local photographers offering photography tours in Alaska . We have decades of experience specifically with trips to photograph bald eagles and other wildlife in the Southeast Alaska area.  We have strong relationships with our exceptional transportation and service providers as they are also locals.  Our trip offers an unparalleled photography and nature experience that takes us into the wild.  Our photo guides are locals of Juneau, many having grown up here.  We are first aid and CPR certified.  Our guides are here to give you the experience of a lifetime and help you get that shot! They have been photographing this area for decades!

Great Photography—Just Steps from Your Door. Our backyard is a nature photography hotspot where eagles can be spotted at every turn, otters and seals pop up and down checking you out, whales leaping  out of the water and the magnificent bears are always a possibility. With  our backdrop of spectacular mountain panoramas that will leave you speechless it is a true Alaska photographer dream adventure trip.   Your accommodations are so close to the photography action that you could literally shoot some of it from your bedroom window! Our boat launch and airport is a mere 10- 15 minute drive from your lodging so we’re off to enjoy each day of photography in no time.

Small Group Size
We limit our group to six photographers and one local photography guide.  This means there’s plenty of space for gear on our boat, in our van and  in our planes and also allows us to spread out when photographing.  With fewer participants we can move about with less impact on both wildlife and habitat.  Your photo guide is always nearby to help you get the best photos possible and answer your questions.

The Right Boat for the Right Place
We’ve chartered with local boat guides in Juneau and Hoonah whose boats offer an exceptional platform from which to photograph wildlife.   Its cozy heated cabin provides a respite from the elements whenever we need a break from the shooting action.

The Right Plane for the Right Place

We charter with a local company owned by two brothers that took up flying at a young age after their grandfather who flew for the Forest Service in the early days.  This company is exceptional in every way and knows the waters and land like no other; they have played a role in the placement of our tours where you get the most impact for wildlife and landscape photography.
